E-Merge

Every E-Merge comes standard with a 6 kWh L125 pack. The available L210 upgrade raises capacity to 10.1 kWh for up to 80 miles on a single charge, depending on conditions. Lithium charges faster than lead-acid, and partial charges won’t harm the battery, so you can top off whenever it’s convenient. The integrated charge indicator on the 7-inch display shows remaining charge in real time and alerts you when it’s time to recharge. The lithium system is maintenance-free, with no watering, fumes or sulfation.

Tomberlin E-Merge models are packed with features that competitors charge extra for, but we do offer additional options and accessories to further personalize your ride. Choose from various weather enclosures, golf bag and sand bottle attachments. Our deluxe front LED bumper, folding DOT windshield, upgraded seating and sound system options are also popular upgrades.

E-Merge models are available as personal transportation vehicles (PTVs) with a top speed of 19 miles per hour, and our LSV models feature 25 mph top speed.

Unlike many competitors, the Tomberlin 5-year limited warranty covers parts and labor. The chassis frame, upper structure, front and rear bodies, and specific suspension components are covered for 5 years, and the Evolve Lithium-Iron Phosphate Battery Power System is covered for 5 years/36,000 miles—whichever comes first. Most states allow low-speed vehicles with a posted speed of 35 mph or less to be driven on public roads. Some states allow golf carts or personal transport vehicles with the addition of specific equipment. Contact your state’s DMV for more details.

Your Owner’s Manual outlines a recommended inspection and service schedule, from quick daily checks to annual service. Semi-annual and annual inspections should be performed by your Authorized Tomberlin Dealer, whose trained technicians use genuine Tomberlin parts. Most golf carts were designed for the course, with top speeds of 12 to 15 mph. Personal transportation vehicles are a step up, reaching up to 19 mph and often adding rear seats and lights for use on private property or, where permitted, public roads. But PTVs aren’t held to federal safety standards.

Low-speed vehicles are a different class altogether. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulates them as motor vehicles, with a top speed of 20 to 25 mph and required equipment that includes headlights, turn signals, brake lights, mirrors, a windshield and seat belts. Every LSV carries a 17-digit VIN, so it can be titled, registered and insured much like a car, subject to state law.
